Dr. Norman Calway-Fagen Hillsboro Village

Known for his courteous nature and gentle care for his patients, Dr. Calway-Fagen has been practicing dentistry for more than thirty years in Nashville since earning his doctorate from Meharry Medical College. He and his wife Norma, a local psychologist, have two adult sons, Michael who is an artist in San Diego and Danny who is an aspiring professional golfer.

Dr. Dan MelamedBellevue

A former software employee, Dr. Melamed traded in his years of staring at a computer for a doctorate from Meharry Medical College and a future helping people get the best dental care possible. When he’s not staying up to date on the latest dental technology in order to provide cutting edge dental solutions, he spends his time watching college basketball, managing his fantasy football league, and spending time with his wife and little boy.

Dr. Ryan Minyard Murfreesboro

Originally from Fresno, CA, Dr. Minyard is a graduate of the University of the Pacific where he played college soccer and later received his Doctorate in Dentistry. After practicing dentistry on the West Coast Dr. Minyard moved to the Nashville area in 1994 where he now lives with his wife and their three kids. An avid soccer player, Dr. Minyard continues to play in local recreational leagues here in Tennessee.

Dr. Manny MontealegreCool Springs

Dr. Montealegre, originally from Florida, graduated from New York University with a Doctorate in Dentistry. He relocated to Murfreesboro in 2005. Dr. Manny and his wife Elizabeth have three sons. Outside the office, Dr. Manny is actively involved in his children's sports, golf, and his church.

Dr. Jeffrey MooreDonelson

Dr. Jeffrey Moore’s career began serving in the Air Force as a dentist in Little Rock, Arkansas. After staying in Arkansas as a part of a group practice for 24 years, Dr. Moore returned to his native Nashville in 2009 to rejoin his family living in the area. A graduate of the University of Tennessee in Martin, he earned his doctorate from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. When he's not spending time with his daughter and two grandchildren, he enjoys hobbies that include fly fishing, hiking, and camping.

Dr. Brandon L. Nielson Hendersonville

Dr. Nielson graduated from the University of Louisville with a B.A. in Biology and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD). After practicing dentistry in Arizona, he and his family returned to the Southeast and fell in love with Tennessee. Dr. Neilson is enthusiastic about dentistry, the outdoors and spending time with his wife with three beautiful children.

Dr. Randall RoseBellevue

Dr. Randall Davis Rose is a native of Covington, TN. With undergraduate degrees in chemistry and biology, he pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery form the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. He is a general dentist with over 20 years in private practice in middle Tennessee. He has had extensive training in cosmetic dentisty, implant placement, and restoration. Outside the office Dr. Rose spends time with his wife, Amy, enjoying water sports, snow skiing, and hunting.

Dr. Keith Van Benthuysen Brentwood

Dr. Van Benthuysen received his B.A. with honors from the Citadel and his D.M.D. from the University of Florida. He began his dental career in the U.S. Army before entering into private practice in Florida more than two decades ago. Since joining the Embassy Dental family in 2006, he now lives in Franklin, TN, with his wife Beverly and their young son.

Dr. John WorkmanHillsboro Village

Born and raised in Nashville, Tenn., Dr. Workman earned a BS in science from MTSU and his DDS from the University of Tennessee. For the past five years, he's practiced dentistry in the Nashville area. Dr. Workman is a member of The Academy of General Dentistry. He enjoys watching football, exercising and spending time with his family.

Dr. Jeffrey Carter

Dr. Jeffrey Carter is an accomplished surgeon who serves as a distinguished member of dental and medical societies such as the American Dental Association, the American Medical Association, the Nashville Academy of Medicine, and the American Society of TMJ. Since earning his B.S. from Tufts University, his D.M.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and his M.D. from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, he has been printed in over fifty publications including chapters in books, journals, and interactive videos and computer software. Dr. Carter is also the director of fellowship and internship programs and dedicates his time to serve in visiting professorships and lectures/abstract presentations at universities around the country.


Dr. Marlin Grimes

Dr. Marlin Grimes received his DDS and MS in Orthodontics from the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry. He has been a licensed orthodontist for more than 35 years. He has served as a full-time faculty member at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, Department of Graduate Orthodontics with responsibility for teaching the Orthodontic Residents clinical skills needed in the practice of Orthodontics.

Dr. Grimes is a member of the Nashville Dental Association, an Active Life Member of the Tennessee Dental Association, an Active Life Member of the American Association of Orthodontists, and was certified as a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2006. He is an Orthodontic Specialty Consultant to the TN State Board of Dentistry.
